Nurpur, August 17, 2026 — A grand and devotional district-level Kalash Yatra was organized at the sacred temple of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji in Ban (Nagni) to commemorate the 650th birth anniversary of the revered saint. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as a large number of devotees, community members, and workers gathered to pay homage.
On this occasion, sacred kalash were ceremoniously dispatched from the temple to all 12 mandals of the district. The yatra aims to spread Guru Ravidas Ji’s timeless message of social harmony, equality, humanity, brotherhood, and unity across the region.
The event was graced by the presence of MP Dr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, MLA Ranbir Singh Nikka (Nurpur), former MLA Rita Dhiman (Indora), former candidate Sanjay Guleria (Jawali), BJP District President Rajesh Kaka, District General Secretary Rajeshwar Happy, and SC Morcha State Vice President Mr. Keval, along with numerous party office bearers and workers.
Throughout the program, the atmosphere resonated with devotional bhajans, chants, and expressions of reverence. Devotees pledged to imbibe Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings in their lives, strengthening love, harmony, equality, and social unity.
Following the yatra, a community feast (bhandara) and prasad distribution were organized, where all participants partook with devotion. The gathering collectively resolved to spread Guru Ravidas Ji’s noble thoughts to every section of society.
The event conveyed a powerful message: the words and teachings of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji continue to inspire society towards equality, humanity, and brotherhood. The district-level Kalash Yatra, held on his 650th birth anniversary, radiated devotion, enthusiasm, and unity across the region.
