Rally, Cultural Programs, and Plantation Drive Highlight Respect for Hindi Language

The 15‑day Hindi Fortnight, which began on September 14, 2026, at Rose Public School, Sulyali, concluded on September 28 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event was organized under the able guidance of Principal Sanjay Sharma Souguni and Vice‑Principal Mrs. Babita Souguni. The primary aim of the fortnight was to instill respect, pride, and awareness among students towards their mother tongue and national language, Hindi.
Cultural Programs, Rally, and Plantation Drive Throughout the fortnight, a variety of cultural and creative activities were held:
- Cultural Presentations: The Hindi Department staged an inspiring play highlighting the importance of the Hindi language, while the Music Department presented melodious songs in its honor.
- Awareness Rally: Students from Classes 9 to 12 participated in a massive rally that began from the school premises, passed through the local market, and returned to the school. With posters and slogans, the students spread awareness among the public about respecting Hindi.
- Plantation Campaign: Under the theme “One Tree in the Name of Mother Tongue,” the Principal and Vice‑Principal planted saplings in the school campus.
Competition Results Students actively participated in various competitions held during the fortnight. Highlights include:
- Hindi Handwriting/Story Writing (Classes 4 & 5): Winners included Srishti, Divyansh, Mannat, Kavya, Anaya, and others across different sections.
- Slogan Writing & Drawing (Classes 6 & 7): Taksika Pathania, Arushi Chauhan, Vihaan, Mayank, and others secured top positions.
- Poster Making (Class 8): Khank Dhiman, Geetika, Hargun, Kanika Sharma, Kartik Kumar, and Manvi were among the winners.
Prize Distribution & Closing Ceremony On the final day, all winners and participants were honored during the closing ceremony. The entire teaching and staff community, along with the Hindi Department, contributed to the success of the event.
