Vision rooted in service and inclusion

In his keynote address, Rtn. Singal extended his congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed executive. He described Rotary International as the world’s largest humanitarian service organisation, a global network founded in 1905 and headquartered in the US, with over 35,000 clubs and 1.22 million members spanning more than 200 countries.
“Rotary brings together individuals from all walks of life who are united by a shared commitment to serve humanity, promote goodwill and foster peace,” he said. Emphasising Rotary’s core values of diversity, equity and inclusion, Singal encouraged members to feel proud of their association with an organisation that stands at the forefront of global philanthropy.

He also highlighted Rotary’s active role in disaster response, noting the club’s on-ground efforts during the recent flood crisis in Mandi, working alongside the state government and other relief organisations to support affected communities.
