Desh Mitra, Leela Prakash, Gaurav Rana, and Nitu elected to key posts

The Mandi Bar Association elections concluded today at the Bar Room, Mandi, witnessing an enthusiastic response with 409 advocates casting their votes. The elections reflected the vibrant spirit of the legal fraternity in the district.
In a notable outcome, Advocate Dinesh Saklani retained his position as President for the second successive term, defeating Advocate Bhanwar Bhardwaj by an impressive margin of 128 votes. His re-election reaffirmed his popularity and leadership among peers — once again proving his mettle above the black robes.
For the Vice President’s post, Advocate Desh Mitra emerged victorious over Advocate Yogita Chauhan by 31 votes. Advocate Leela Prakash was elected unopposed as Secretary, while Advocate Gaurav Rana also secured an unopposed victory as Joint Secretary. The position of Librarian was won by Advocate Nitu.
The polling process was conducted smoothly under the supervision of Election Coordinators Lokesh Kapoor and Khub Ram Sharma, who ensured a fair and transparent election throughout the day.
Members of the Bar extended congratulations to the newly elected team and expressed confidence that under Saklani’s continued leadership, the association will further strengthen its collective voice and continue working towards the welfare of the legal fraternity in Mandi.
