DAV Public School, Gohju marked International Anti-Tobacco Day with great enthusiasm, organizing a series of activities to spread awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption.
Students actively engaged in a poster-making competition on the theme “Tobacco is Dangerous for Health,” creating impactful visuals that promoted a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle. A role play was also presented, depicting how negative influences and bad company can lead youth towards harmful addictions, while emphasizing the importance of making positive choices.
Principal Mr. Vishal Katoch appreciated the creativity and efforts of the students, urging them to spread awareness in society. He advised students to stay away from all harmful substances and contribute towards building a healthy and responsible nation.
The programme concluded with a strong pledge to “Say No to Tobacco” and work collectively towards a healthier future for all.
