Dharamshala Block Congress holds key meeting to strengthen grassroots organization

A crucial meeting of the Dharamshala Block Congress was held today under the leadership of Ajay Verma, State Congress General Secretary and In-charge of Vikas Charcha for the region. The primary focus of the meeting was to strategize on strengthening the Congress party at the booth level.
The gathering witnessed enthusiastic participation from block-level office bearers, party workers, and booth representatives from across the constituency. Attendees shared practical suggestions to reinforce the party’s grassroots presence.
Ajay Verma emphasized that the true strength of the Congress lies in its dedicated workers. He encouraged them to take an active role in spreading the party’s ideology among the masses and proposed strategies to fortify the organization at the booth level.
“Without a strong booth-level structure, we cannot effectively raise the voice of the people,” Verma stated. He assured that all practical suggestions shared during the meeting would be implemented in collaboration with the Block Congress to infuse new energy into the organization.
The meeting was also addressed by Block Congress President Harbhajan Chaudhary, former Mayor Devendra Jaggi, and other senior leaders. Speakers highlighted that unity among workers is the party’s greatest asset and will be instrumental in strengthening the Congress in the Dharamshala region in the times ahead.
Former Mayor Devendra Jaggi noted a renewed energy within the Dharamshala Congress organization. He urged every worker to actively engage with the public and communicate the party’s policies and achievements. “The Dharamshala Block Congress is fully prepared for the upcoming elections, with the goal of raising the Congress flag at every booth,” he affirmed.
Block Congress President Harbhajan Chaudhary reiterated that every Congress worker is the backbone of the party. He stressed the importance of activating the organization at the booth level and prioritizing public issues to ensure the party remains a strong voice for the people of Dharamshala.
The meeting concluded with a collective pledge by the workers to take Congress’s policies and programs to every household at the booth level.
