As per the directions of the Himachal Pradesh Government, 35 children from four child care institutions in Chamba district are currently on a week-long educational tour from March 31 to April 7.

On the fourth day of the journey, the children visited Dadra and Nagar Haveli district, exploring several attractions including the Children’s Memorial Park in Daman, Butterfly Park in Khanvel, Dudhani Lake, Deer Park Sanctuary in Satmaliya, Nakshatra Garden, Daman Ganga Riverfront, Van Ganga Lake Garden, and the spectacular High-Rise Musical Water Fountain Show.

Earlier, on April 3, the group enjoyed a lion safari in Vasona, adding to their excitement and learning experience.

During the tour, Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania interacted with the children virtually, seeking feedback and encouraging them to make the most of the program. He extended his best wishes for a joyful and enriching experience.

The children expressed heartfelt gratitude to the state government, the Speaker, and the district administration for organizing the tour and providing excellent facilities including transport, accommodation, and meals.

Tour in-charge and Child Protection Officer Ajay Panwar shared that all the children are extremely happy and enthusiastic. The children themselves remarked that they had never imagined such a fun-filled and knowledge-enhancing trip in their lives, and conveyed their appreciation to both the state government and district administration.
