Youth Congress leader from Bharmour, Suresh Kumar Thakur, has extended his congratulations to Surjit Bharmauri on being appointed as the President of Chamba District Congress.
Thakur said that Bharmauri’s appointment has sparked joy across the Bharmour Assembly constituency, raising new hopes for development in the region. He emphasized that under Bharmauri’s leadership, the Congress in Bharmaur will contest the upcoming 2026 Panchayati elections with unity and strength, aiming to secure victory on most seats.
He added that Congress workers at the grassroots level will be mobilized to spread awareness about the policies and developmental initiatives of the Himachal Pradesh government to every household.
Looking ahead to the 2027 Assembly elections, Thakur expressed confidence that Congress workers across all constituencies of Chamba district will be energized to secure victory. He noted that Bharmauri’s long-standing service and experience within the organization will greatly benefit the party in future elections.
