Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal Calls for Timely Disposal of Pending FCA Cases

Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal emphasized the need for expediting the clearance of cases under the Forest Conservation Act (FCA) related to various developmental projects. Chairing a review meeting on FCA permissions in Churah Forest Division, he directed officials of concerned departments to ensure coordination and transparency in their activities so that pending cases can be resolved within the stipulated timeframe.

He instructed the Deputy Director of Higher Education to prepare cases under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) for construction of educational institution buildings. Repswal further stressed that objections in pending cases must be addressed promptly and all required documents should be completed on time.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that under different projects, 25 cases under Parivesh-1 and 5 cases under Parivesh-2 have already been uploaded and are in process for approval.

The meeting was attended by Divisional Forest Officer Sushil Guleria, Deputy Director of Higher Education Vikas Mahajan, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Joginder Sharma, and Assistant Engineer Sanjeev Atri.
