Embodying the spirit of “Seva Parmo Dharma” (Service is the highest duty) and “Nar Seva Narayan Seva” (Serving humanity is serving God), MLA Dr. Janak Raj donated 15 wheelchairs to the Medical College Chamba for the convenience of patients admitted there.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Janak Raj emphasized that compassion and basic facilities are essential in healthcare services. He noted that wheelchairs provide significant relief, especially for elderly, differently-abled, and critically ill patients. “It is our collective responsibility to ensure that patients and their families do not face any inconvenience,” he said.
The MLA urged hospital authorities to prioritize the use of these wheelchairs for patients in need, ensuring dignity and comfort during treatment.
Hospital officials expressed gratitude for the support, stating that the donation would ease patient mobility and enhance the quality of healthcare services.
Dr. Janak Raj concluded by reaffirming his commitment to strengthening public service and healthcare facilities in the future.
