DHARAMSHALA: Girls have once again outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 12 board examinations 2025, achieving a pass percentage of 91.64%, a lead of over five percentage points, according to Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 85.70%.
The overall pass percentage for Class 12 this year is 88.39%, marking a slight increase from last year’s 87.98%. Notably, transgender candidates have achieved a 100% pass rate this year, a remarkable improvement from 50% in 2024.
Out of 16,92,794 students who appeared for the exams, 1,11,544 scored above 90%, and 24,867 students secured above 95%. However, more than 1.29 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category.
How to check your CBSE results online
Official websites: cbseresults.nic.in; results.cbse.nic.in; cbse.gov.in. All you require is roll number, school number and admit card number.

• Visit the official CBSE result website.
• Click on the link for “CBSE 10th Result 2025.”
• Enter your roll number, school number and admit card number.
• Click “Submit” to view and download your result.
Students can also use the DigiLocker App or website (https://www.digilocker.gov.in) to access their digital mark sheets:
• Log in using your mobile number or Aadhaar.
• Select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education’.
• Enter your exam credentials (same as above).
• Download your digital marksheet.
