Carpenter’s Daughter Clears TGT Medical Exam, Geetanjali Becomes Beacon of Hope in Seraj

Demonstrating that determination can overcome economic hardship, 27-year-old Geetanjali from Saroa village in the Seraj Assembly constituency has successfully cleared the TGT Medical examination, emerging as a source of inspiration for the region.

Born into a modest family, Geetanjali is the daughter of Khem Singh, a carpenter who has sustained the household through daily wage work. Despite limited financial resources, he remained steadfast in prioritising his daughter’s education, working long hours to support her academic pursuits. His perseverance and sacrifice have been instrumental in shaping Geetanjali’s success.

Her mother, Rukmani, a homemaker, provided constant emotional support, encouraging her daughter to remain focused and resilient through challenging circumstances.

Geetanjali completed her schooling from Government Senior Secondary School, Saroa, and later pursued her Bachelor of Science degree from Vallabh Government College, Mandi. Undeterred by financial constraints, she continued to work diligently, ultimately achieving success in the competitive TGT Medical examination.

Her achievement has brought pride to her family and the wider Seraj region. Her brother is currently pursuing higher education after completing his graduation.

Beyond a personal milestone, Geetanjali’s accomplishment reflects the transformative power of perseverance, family support and commitment to education, offering a strong message to young aspirants facing similar challenges.
