Jawali — Spring Dale Convent Senior Secondary School, Jawali, hosted a Capacity Building Program under the directives of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), focusing on the theme “Happy Classroom.” The workshop brought together educators from both government and private institutions, fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth.

The session commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a soulful rendition of the Saraswati Vandana, setting a reverent tone for the day.

CBSE-appointed resource persons Mr. Virendra Sharma and Ms. Seema Sharma led the workshop, emphasizing the importance of emotional well-being and engagement in the classroom. Through interactive activities, they illustrated how learning new things contributes to a fulfilling life. They highlighted the concept of the “Goldilocks Sweet Spot”—a balance where tasks are neither too easy nor too overwhelming, enabling optimal learning through neuroplasticity.

Principal Dr. Rajeev Singh Niryal praised the initiative, stating that a happy classroom is built on safety, values, and student success. He stressed the importance of understanding students’ emotions, encouraging expression, and integrating playful teaching methods to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The program concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the resource persons—a shawl and a memento—by the principal, acknowledging their valuable contribution.
