In a major organisational overhaul, BJP state president Dr Rajeev Bindal announced that the number of BJP’s organisational mandals in Himachal Pradesh had been increased from 74 to 171.
The decision was taken following the approval of the central leadership and the recommendations of a delimitation committee chaired by BJP state general secretary Trilok Kapoor.
Dr Bindal stated that under the supervision of Kangra MP Dr Rajeev Bhardwaj, the delimitation process was meticulously carried out to strengthen the party’s grassroots network.
Himachal, which comprises 17 organisational districts, will now function through these 171 mandals for enhanced coordination and outreach.
