A significant step towards waste management has been achieved through the joint efforts of the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Bharmour and the BDO Office Bharmour.
Providing details, ADM Bharmour Vikas Sharma informed that 4 tons of waste have recently been dispatched to Baddi for processing. Earlier, another 4 tons had already been sent, bringing the total to 8 tons of waste transported out of Bharmour for disposal.
He added that while earlier Bharmour’s waste was sent for “zero-waste” processing, this marks the beginning of a more concrete initiative. Gradually, the accumulated waste is being cleared with the aim of complete disposal.
ADM Sharma appealed to the public not to throw garbage on roads or pathways, but to hand it over only to sanitation workers or waste collection vehicles. He emphasized that even a little cooperation from citizens can make these large-scale administrative efforts successful.
