DAV Public School Gohju marked Basant Panchami with great zeal and devotion. The celebrations began with a hawan ceremony, attended by students from Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Class 5.
The youngest learners brought vibrancy to the occasion:
- Nursery students observed Yellow Day, dressed in bright yellow attire and recited poems.
- LKG students participated in a cheerful yellow colouring activity.
- UKG students offered prayers by reciting Saraswati Vandana.
- Class 2 students expressed gratitude through traditional mantras.
The atmosphere was filled with joy as students engaged in cultural and devotional activities. To add sweetness to the celebration, sweets were distributed among all students.
School Principal Mr. Vishal Katoch appreciated the children’s efforts and shared insightful thoughts on the significance of Basant Panchami, highlighting the importance of knowledge, wisdom, and cultural traditions.
The event concluded on a festive note, leaving students inspired and connected to the spirit of the occasion.
