On the occasion of World AIDS Day, an awareness rally was organised at the Bharmour helipad in the tribal subdivision of Bharmour. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Government College Bharmour, staff members of the Civil Hospital Bharmour, and members of the NGO HIMC team led by Mamta.

Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bharmour, Dr. Dipesh Kumar, was present as a special guest. Participants wore the symbolic red ribbon to express solidarity, support, and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Kumar, while addressing the gathering, highlighted that World AIDS Day was first observed in 1988. He explained that the red ribbon has become a global symbol of the fight against HIV and AIDS, representing blood, passion, and empathy.

Students and NGO members also displayed slogans promoting prevention and awareness, urging the community to remain vigilant and informed about the disease.
