The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Government College Bharmour was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity. The presence of students, faculty members, and distinguished guests added to the charm of the event.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati by Chief Guest Dr. Manish Verma and other dignitaries, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana.
In his address, Dr. Verma emphasized the importance of education, urging students to move forward in life with discipline and perseverance. He highlighted that such events instill confidence and motivate students to achieve their goals.
Presiding over the ceremony, Principal Dr. Hemant Pal encouraged students to adopt hard work, positive thinking, and discipline, stressing that education is the most powerful medium to reach new heights and contribute to society’s development.
According to the annual report, the college achieved commendable results in the 2024–25 session:
- First Year: 68 out of 94 students passed (72.34%)
- Second Year: 62 out of 74 students passed (83.78%)
- Third Year: 59 out of 62 students passed (95.16%)
Currently, 206 students are enrolled, with nearly 66% being female. For the 2025–26 session, enrollment includes 81 in the first year, 77 in the second year, and 48 in the third year.
Students excelling in academics, cultural activities, sports, and other fields were honored by the Chief Guest and Principal. The ceremony concluded with appreciation for the college family’s efforts and a vote of thanks to all guests.
