The annual function of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Kangra was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Utsav Palace. The program began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and worship of Goddess Saraswati, led by Principal Mrs. Pooja Sharma, along with special guest Dr. Vijay Bodh, formally inaugurating the event.
In her welcome address, Principal Mrs. Pooja Sharma emphasized that the annual function provides a platform to honor students for their achievements and helps instill a spirit of competitiveness while showcasing their talents.
On this occasion, the newly appointed Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, was specially welcomed and honored with a cap, shawl, and memento.
The students presented a variety of cultural programs, reflecting creativity and talent. Through the annual report, Principal Mrs. Pooja Sharma highlighted the school’s achievements and activities over the past year, including educational initiatives and public awareness campaigns.
Delivering his inspiring address, Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Sharma stated that children are the future of the nation and stressed the importance of combining education with moral values and discipline. He urged that children be guided with the ideals of Indian culture and encouraged greater participation in competitions. On this occasion, Dr. Sharma also released the school calendar for the year 2026.
Several distinguished guests graced the event, including Mr. Jashan Singh (Director and Producer, Arneja Productions), Mrs. Sonia Mehta (Producer and Creative Director), Mr. Jatin Suthar, Mrs. Neelam Rana, and Mr. Sunil Guleria, among other respected personalities.
The program concluded with the distribution of certificates to students for the academic session 2025–26. Principal Mrs. Pooja Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, parents, and dignitaries in her vote of thanks. The function ended on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem.
