Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who belongs to Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, and her filmmaker husband Aditya Dhar visited the revered Brajeshwari Mata Temple in Kangra in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday where the couple offered prayers and sought divine blessings.

Their visit is being seen as a gesture of gratitude following the resounding success of Aditya Dhar’s latest directorial venture ‘Dhurandhar’.

This visit comes close on the heels of another temple trip last month, when the couple paid obeisance at the Naina Devi Temple, one of Himachal Pradesh’s most prominent Shakti Peeths. Known for their deep-rooted connection with Himachal Pradesh, Yami and Aditya have often expressed faith in traditional values and spiritual grounding, especially during important phases of their personal and professional lives.

‘Dhurandhar’ emerges as major box office winner

‘Dhurandhar’ has emerged as one of the most talked-about Hindi films of the season. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is a high-octane espionage and action thriller mounted on a grand scale. Featuring a strong ensemble cast led by a top Bollywood star, the film has received an encouraging response from audiences across the country.

The movie has performed impressively at the box office, registering strong opening numbers and sustaining momentum through positive word of mouth. Critics have praised the film for its tight screenplay, powerful performances and slick action sequences, calling it a significant achievement in the action-thriller genre.

While Yami Gautam does not feature in Dhurandhar, she has been vocal in her support for the film and its team. She has publicly acknowledged the intense effort and vision that went into the project and has shared moments of celebration linked to the film’s success on social media.

Blend of faith and professional milestones

The visit to Brajeshwari Mata Temple underscores how the couple continues to balance professional achievements with spiritual faith. Locals and devotees who noticed their presence at the temple described the visit as simple and dignified, with the couple spending quiet moments in prayer.

Yami Gautam frequently returns to the state and has often spoken about her emotional and cultural bond with the region. Together, Yami and Aditya’s recent temple visits have drawn attention not just for their star presence, but also for the message of humility and gratitude they reflect after a major cinematic success.

As ‘Dhurandhar’ continues its strong run, the couple’s visit to Brajeshwari Mata stands out as a reminder that for many in the film industry, faith remains an integral part of celebrating success.
