Two persons are confirmed dead while more casualties are feared after several vehicles were buried under debris following a landslide near Snell on the Hatkoti-Tuini road in Rohru sub-division of Shimla district in Himachal Pradesh.
According to information, the accident occurred at 2 pm on Sunday (April 28, 2024). A Bolero was taken out of the debris by rescuers and in it two bodies were found. More vehicles were feared buried under the debris even as police and other rescue teams were on the spot, said officials.
Senior officials from the Rohru administration are also on the spot. There was a fear that many other people may be buried under the debris, the officials said.
