Union Ayush Ministry’s 2-day workshop begins at Pandoh in Himachal, 115 officials from across country participating

MANDI: The Union Ministry of AYUSH has launched a two-day national sensitisation workshop in Pandoh, Himachal Pradesh, aimed at strengthening administrative capabilities within its institutions.
The workshop is being held at a private hotel and is organised by the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pandoh.


A total of 115 officials and employees from 30 AYUSH institutions across the country are participating in this training program. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Prof. Vaidya Ravinarayan Acharya, Director General of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), and Deputy Director (Administration), Deepak Kochar.


Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Acharya emphasised the importance of equipping administrative personnel with updated knowledge to ensure smooth implementation of government policies and directives. He said such training enhances transparency and speeds up administrative processes.

Over two days, participants will receive expert-led sessions on crucial administrative topics, including E-Office implementation, website and establishment management, project coordination, accounting practices, General Financial Rules (GFR), condemnation protocols, Tally software, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and service conduct regulations.


Dr Vinita Kumari Negi, in-charge of the Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, expressed gratitude to the ministry for entrusting the institute with the responsibility of organising the event. She noted that the workshop reflects the ministry’s commitment to professional development across the AYUSH sector.


The workshop continues through June 14, with a focus on practical training and knowledge-sharing to strengthen institutional administration across the country.
