On the occasion of World Oral Health Day, Garg Multispeciality Dental Clinic organised a free dental check-up and awareness camp at Chetna Sanstha. The initiative was held at the request of Mr. Kashmira and Mr. Anoop Sharma, where nearly 60 children underwent dental examinations.
The camp was led by Dr. Keshav Garg (MDS Periodontology & Implant Specialist, BDS IGMC Shimla, President – Himachal Pradesh Dental Health Services & Welfare Society), accompanied by Dr. Anjali Sharma and Dr. Abhay Gautam.

During the camp, all children received free oral hygiene kits (toothbrush and toothpaste). The doctors provided detailed guidance on proper brushing techniques and overall dental care. Dr. Garg advised children to brush correctly for 3–5 minutes daily, adopt a balanced diet, and avoid harmful foods like chips, packaged snacks, and chocolates. He also emphasized the importance of drinking plenty of water.
Dr. Anjali Sharma and Dr. Abhay Gautam highlighted the significance of maintaining oral hygiene and encouraged children to clean their teeth regularly.
The primary objective of the camp was to raise awareness among children about dental hygiene, healthy eating habits, and oral health, helping them prevent dental diseases in the future. The initiative was well appreciated by the local community and the institution.
