Nurpur
Residents of Nurpur will now have access to traditional Ayurvedic healing methods with the inauguration of the Raj Ksharsutra and Panchakarma Treatment Centre near Civil Hospital, Chougan Chowk. The centre promises holistic care using Ayurvedic medicines and age-old therapeutic practices.
Centre Highlights:
- Lifestyle Diseases on the Rise: Dr. Raj Kumar, the centre’s director, noted that modern lifestyle issues—poor diet, irregular routines, and consumption of chemically grown food—are leading to serious health problems such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and hormonal imbalances.
- Panchakarma Therapy: The centre will offer Panchakarma treatments to detoxify the body and address conditions like cervical spondylitis, back pain, arthritis, and joint disorders.
- Ksharsutra Method: For ailments such as piles, fistula, and fissures, the centre will use the Ksharsutra technique, a safe and effective Ayurvedic procedure.
- Common Health Concerns: Dr. Kumar highlighted that every second person suffers from high blood pressure, every third from diabetes, and every fourth from heart disease. Rising uric acid levels are also causing widespread joint pain and back problems.
- Appeal for Healthy Living: He urged people to avoid fast food, limit mobile usage, and dedicate at least 30 minutes daily to yoga and exercise for a healthier life.
With the opening of this centre, people in Nurpur will now have reliable and accessible Ayurvedic treatment options within their own region.
