8-Day Yoga Camp begins at Indrunag Temple, Kangra

Kangra – An 8-day yoga camp, organised by Santosh Kumari Thakur , earlier District In-Charge of Kangra North, under the Women’s Patanjali Yoga Committee of Himachal Pradesh, commenced at Indrunag Temple, Khaniyara. The camp runs daily from June 15 to June 22, from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM, guided by Swami Sankalp Dev Ji from Haridwar Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Participants were introduced to the significance of incorporating yoga into their daily routines, improving eating habits, and understanding the holistic benefits of yoga. The teachings emphasized how yoga enhances knowledge, strength, capability, and mental, intellectual, and physical well-being.

The first day of the camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from local villagers, who arrived before the scheduled time, eager to engage in the yoga session. Among the prominent attendees were young state employee Ravinder Ji, Indrunag Temple priest Bipin Ji, Narinder Ji, Praveen Ji, Rama Ji, and Lata Ji, along with several other residents.

The camp serves as an opportunity for the community to embrace a healthier lifestyle while fostering a deeper connection with yoga and its transformative effects. Organizers hope the initiative will encourage long-term adoption of yogic practices among the participants.
