As per the instructions of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and Corporate office, a grand exhibition was organized at Sewa-II Power Station, Mashka, J&K, on 24 January, 2026 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram.” The objective of this event was to highlight the historical, cultural, and national significance of the “Vande Mataram” theme and to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the employees.

The program was inaugurated by the Head of the Power Station, Shri Madan Lal Sharma. In his address, he shed light on the composition of Vande Mataram, its role in the freedom struggle, and the national consciousness it awakened among the countrymen.
He urged the officers and employees present to faithfully discharge their duties towards the nation. Shri Kalpataru Nayak, General Manager (Electrical), Shri Asit Ranjan Patnayak, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), and other officers and employees were present on this occasion.
The exhibition displayed historical facts, pictures, posters, and informative materials related to Vande Mataram, which were appreciated by the officers and employees. Everyone participated enthusiastically in the program.
The event was successfully concluded and reinforced the feelings of patriotism, cultural awareness, and national unity.
