Palampur MLA Ashish Butail today dedicated three major development projects worth ₹44.5 million to the public in Bindravan Ward No. 7 of the Municipal Corporation.
On the occasion, he formally inaugurated:
- Shiv Temple Bharun–Anganwadi Road (₹16 million)
- Road from Tuni da Tiyala to Fared (₹11.5 million)
- Loharl Community Building (₹17 million)
Commitment to Development
Addressing the gathering, Butail assured that no shortage of funds would hinder Palampur’s growth, noting that projects worth ₹12 billion are currently underway across the constituency.
Respecting local sentiments, he directed the installation of 20 solar lights along the Bharun roadside and completion of the remaining construction work of the Shiv Temple. In a step toward women’s empowerment, he announced an incentive grant of ₹15,000 each for three women’s self-help groups.
Future Plans for Bindravan Ward
Butail emphasized that Bindravan Ward would be developed as a model ward with tourism and modern amenities. He highlighted upcoming projects including:
- A park costing ₹40 million
- An artificial lake costing ₹10 million
These, he said, would become major attractions for local residents.
Addressing Regional Issues
The MLA also assured a permanent solution to stray cattle, with phased relocation to Khalti Gaushala. He announced that the Municipal Corporation would soon launch a vaccination and sterilization drive for dogs in the city. Additionally, he directed that the transformer capacity in Loharad be increased to prevent future power-related problems.
