Students of DAV Public School, Gohju observed Earth Day with great zeal and creativity, participating in a series of engaging activities designed to spread awareness about environmental conservation.
Young learners from Nursery, LKG, and UKG took part in simple yet impactful activities that were both informative and enjoyable. Students of Class VI presented a thoughtful project on the Solar System, emphasizing Earth’s uniqueness as the only known planet that sustains life and underscoring the urgent need to protect it.
Meanwhile, Class VIII students highlighted pressing environmental issues through a creative activity that drew attention to the depletion of flora and fauna. Their efforts successfully conveyed the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
Principal Mr. Vishal Katoch lauded the students’ initiatives and encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly habits, particularly reducing the use of plastic. He stressed that small individual actions can collectively make a significant difference in saving our planet.
The programme concluded with a resounding message: “Save Earth, Save Life.”
