Following the conclusion of the vibrant Tiyalu Fair, the organising committee launched a special cleanliness drive to restore the fairgrounds and surrounding forest areas. Volunteers collected plastic waste and other litter, ensuring the venue was left pristine.
Fairs in Himachal Pradesh hold a unique cultural significance, offering glimpses into the region’s traditions, cuisine, and artistic heritage. This year’s event featured a variety of cultural performances, giving artists a platform to showcase their talents.
Despite heavy rainfall, the fair and its cultural evening were successfully conducted, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the local administration, municipal corporation, electricity board, police department, and the Jal Shakti department. Committee Chairman Mr. Dinesh Kapoor expressed gratitude to all departments and visiting performers who made this year’s fair truly memorable.
The clean-up initiative saw active participation from committee members, including Trade Association President Mr. Narendra Pathania, along with Nirmal Kumar, Surendra Kumar, Rajpal, Parshuram, Kishori Lal, Vinod Kumar, Mahendra Barsain, Inderjeet, and Ashish Kapoor. Municipal sanitation workers and Best Warrior Committee representatives Bobby Dixit and Sakshi also played a key role in the campaign.
