MANDI/Manali:
Himachal Pradesh witnessed a historic moment on Friday evening as 19 of the world’s most coveted supercars roared into the Himalayan town of Manali for the First Himachal Supercar Drive, a four-day luxury adventure that signals a new chapter in high-end tourism for the region.
A fleet featuring elite brands like Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Lamborghini, Nissan GTR, and Audi converged on Manali—9 cars from Mumbai and 10 from Chandigarh—bringing with them 24 passionate automobile enthusiasts. The event underscores Himachal’s growing appeal among discerning travellers seeking adrenaline with elegance.

Warm welcome in the hills
The convoy was welcomed at Span Resort, Manali, by local MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur, who lauded the initiative.
“The arrival of these top-tier supercars is a proud moment for Himachal. It marks the beginning of a new era in luxury tourism. The state government fully supports such ventures that showcase Himachal’s unmatched beauty to the world,” he said.
Behind the wheel of a dream
Praveen Sood (Pintu), president of the Himalayan Xtreme Sports Association and local coordinator, called the event the fulfillment of a long-standing vision.

“We have been striving for many years to organise a drive of this calibre to demonstrate the immense potential of luxury tourism in Himachal. This would not have been possible to even dream of without the invaluable support of the Himachal Pradesh Government, the Kullu and Lahaul administration and the Border Roads Organisation.”
Through tunnels and valleys
This historic expedition will see the supercars pass through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel and explore the stunning landscapes of the Lahaul Valley.
It marks the first time that such high-performance sports cars will traverse this challenging and scenic route, further amplifying the adventurous spirit of the drive.
The Himachal Supercar Run 2025 is poised to usher in a new era for tourism in the state. It highlights Himachal Pradesh’s readiness to attract high-end travelers in search of unique and thrilling experiences.
This event is set to position Himachal on the global map as a destination where luxury and adventure blend seamlessly in the heart of the Himalayas.
