Dharamshala: The Dharamshala Spring Carnival-2025 continues to captivate audience, with every passing day adding to the event’s charm.
After four days of electrifying performances, the much-awaited Himachal Pradesh Police’s band Harmony of the Pines is all set to take the stage on fifth day of the seven-day musical extravaganza on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) at the Dari Mela Ground in Dharamshala.

Harmony of the Pines: Pride of Himachal’s music scene

Renowned for their melodious blend of traditional Himachali folk and contemporary fusion music, Harmony of the Pines has carved a niche for itself in the national music industry. Having performed at prestigious national platforms, the group has become a symbol of Himachal’s rich cultural legacy.
Established in 1996 with just seven members as a stress-relief initiative for police officers, Harmony of the Pines has evolved over the years into a cultural phenomenon, performing at departmental events and gaining widespread popularity.
Harmony of the Pines shot to limelight when it became finalists on talent show ‘Hunarbaz Desk Ki Shaan’ and were named brand ambassadors for the Election Commission of India. The band was also featured on an Indian Postal Stamp, a rare honour for a police ensemble.
In 2016, the Himachal Pradesh government formally recognised the orchestra, bestowing the title ‘Harmony of the Pines’.

High-energy performance by Ishant Bhardwaj on Day 4

Following the mesmerising performance by Poonam Bhardwaj on Day 3, it was a high-energy act by Ishant Bhardwaj on Day 4.
Beyond the musical extravaganza, the Dharamshala Spring Carnival-2025 continues to be a paradise for food lovers and shopping enthusiasts alike. The sprawling festival grounds are lined with vibrant stalls offering an array of delicacies.
From authentic Himachali cuisine to popular street food items like momos, chaat and kebabs, there is something for every palate. Adding to the carnival’s allure, traders have set up various stalls of woollens, intricate jewellery, wooden artifacts and other goods.

Unforgettable Cultural Extravaganza

Organised by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), the seven-day carnival, running from February 7 to 13, has emerged as one of the most-awaited cultural events in the region.
With upcoming performances by Kumar Sahil on February 12 and AC Bhardwaj on February 13, the grand festival promises to keep the entertainment quotient soaring till the very end.
