Dharamshala: – The educational landscape of Himachal Pradesh is poised for a major transformation as renowned educator and entrepreneur Devasheesh Sharma officially announces the expansion of his academic footprint to Dharamshala.
The launch of his new venture, Sarvaadya Educates, located at Badol (Dari), marks a pivotal moment for local aspirants eyeing premier national institutions.
Sharma, a name synonymous with high-stakes exam success, brings a formidable track record from the competitive corridors of Chandigarh and Zirakpur to the foothills of the Dhauladhars.
A Pedigree of Academic Excellence
Devasheesh Sharma’s journey is rooted in deep technical expertise. After completing his B.Tech in 2014, he earned his M.Tech from UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2016.
It was during these postgraduate years that Sharma discovered his calling for the classroom—a passion that would eventually evolve into a career of shaping future engineers and officers.
Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Sharma honed his craft at the nation’s top-tier coaching giants:
Aakash Institute, Chandigarh: Two years of intensive mentoring and curriculum delivery.
Genesis Institute: Three years of refining pedagogical methods and specialized academic approaches.
The ‘Ignite’ Success Story: Proven Results
In 2020, amidst global economic uncertainty, Sharma took a bold entrepreneurial leap by founding Ignite Academy in Zirakpur.
The move paid off, as the institute rapidly became a powerhouse for competitive results, demonstrating a model that prioritizes output over hype.
Elite Engineering Placements
The academy has become a consistent feeder for the nation’s top engineering colleges.
To date, 7 students have secured selections in IITs, gaining admission to prestigious campuses including IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Mandi, and IIT Ropar.
Furthermore, 10 students successfully earned seats at various National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across the country.
Defence and Foundation Success
Beyond engineering, Sharma has displayed a remarkable knack for mentoring students for the armed forces and prestigious foundation schools.
The academy boasts 14 selections in the National Defence Academy (NDA), preparing the next generation of military officers. Additionally, 20 students secured admissions into Sainik Schools, proving the efficacy of his methods even at the foundational level.
Bridging the Urban-Rural Divide
The launch of Sarvaadya Educates in Dharamshala is more than just a business expansion; it is a strategic move to democratize high-quality education. Historically, students from Himachal Pradesh have been forced to migrate to cities like Chandigarh, Delhi, or Kota for elite coaching.
“The focus will remain on strong fundamentals, disciplined preparation, and personalized mentoring—the same pillars that defined our success in Zirakpur,” sources close to the institute stated.
By establishing a center in Badol (Dari), Sharma aims to provide metro-level guidance to local students, allowing them to stay closer to their support systems while preparing for the country’s toughest exams.
A New Era for Himachal’s Aspirants
Education observers suggest that the arrival of a proven mentor like Sharma could turn Dharamshala into a burgeoning hub for competitive coaching.
With a focus on NDA, IIT-JEE, and NEET level preparation, Sarvaadya Educates is expected to significantly reduce the “brain drain” from the region.
