To ensure complete transparency and make examinations “cheating-proof,” Himachal Pradesh School Education Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma has issued strict directives mandating the use of the Exam Mitra App at all exam centers. He made it clear that for superintendents and deputy superintendents, using the app is not optional but compulsory.

Dr. Sharma emphasized that real-time data is crucial for maintaining exam integrity. All essential updates from exam centers must be uploaded immediately to the app, enabling the board headquarters to monitor live conditions and detect any irregularities without delay.

He warned that even a minor lapse in reporting will now be directly flagged. To strengthen oversight, center coordinators have been given special authority to monitor whether updates are being uploaded correctly and on time. This three-tier monitoring system, he said, will further enhance the credibility of the examination process.

Highlighting the role of technology, Dr. Sharma stated that the board is expanding digital tools to eliminate delays and errors associated with manual reporting. The Exam Mitra App, he noted, is a step toward modernizing exam management and ensuring fairness. He urged all officials to adopt this technological shift seriously, as it directly contributes to the quality of education and the standardization of examinations.
