Shimla: All pending dues of Himcare and other schemes will be cleared by the end of this financial year, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Dhaniram Shandil in the assembly on Thursday.
MLAs Janak Raj, Deep Raj, Randeep Sharma, Ashish Sharma, and Rakesh Jamwal raised questions related to the Ayushman Yojana, Himcare Yojana, and Sahara Yojana.
Earlier, Shandil said that a detailed question was asked. If anything has gone wrong anywhere, it will be investigated.
BJP MLA Janak Raj said that he receives daily calls stating that the benefits of the Himcare scheme are not being received. It seems that the health department itself is getting sick.
BJP MLA Randeep Sharma said that the questions of five MLAs have been clubbed together. The dues of Himcare are pending. Still, the government is saying that there are no dues. So when will the government give the amount to the 249 institutions? The dues of the Sahara scheme are also pending. When will it be paid?
Shandil said that the dues are pending. There is a pending due of Rs 249 crore in the Himcare scheme. It is being ensured that all pending amounts are cleared in this financial year.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Jairam Thakur said that five members have asked questions. It is a fact that things are being hidden. The owner of a private hospital came and said that he has dues of more than Rs 5 crore. Himcare is also not being seen in government hospitals. Jairam Thakur said that there are dues of about Rs 350 crores.
