In a heartfelt tribute, a main gate will soon be constructed at Bhat Nala village in memory of martyr Karan Singh, with an estimated cost of ₹1.6 lakh. Alongside this, a major drinking water pipeline project worth ₹40 lakh in Khuli village is nearing completion and is expected to be dedicated to the public by December.

Announcing these initiatives during the “Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar” program at Bhat Nala, Chaudhary Narendra Nishu Mongra — District APMC Chairman, State Congress OBC Department President, and District Chairman of the 20‑Point Programme — assured villagers that their concerns would be addressed promptly. He emphasized that the state government is committed to holistic rural development, strengthening basic amenities at the panchayat level.

Mongra highlighted that in the past three years, Kangra constituency has witnessed rapid development, with several projects being prioritized before the Chief Minister and subsequently accelerated. He noted that under the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government, transformative changes and multi‑crore development schemes are reshaping the constituency, including efforts to bolster the agriculture‑based economy.

The event saw participation from Panchayat Pradhan Kulwant Singh, ward members, women’s groups, and other respected villagers, reflecting strong community support for these initiatives.
