Under the ongoing “Aapka Sevak Aapke Dwar” outreach programme, residents of Samirpur village welcomed district leaders to discuss local issues and development works.
Addressing the gathering in Ward No. 3, Narendra Nishu Mongra, APMC District President, State Congress OBC Department President, and District Chairman of the 20-Point Programme, announced that ₹14.40 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of the road from Deheria to Chil Baihi Kapadia via Kalka Temple. He assured that work will begin soon, providing easier access to the temple and improving connectivity for villagers.
During the dialogue, residents raised concerns about high-voltage power lines near homes, to which Mongra confirmed that the electricity department will conduct an on-site inspection by Tuesday and resolve the issue promptly. He also noted that a sanctioned hand pump in Ward No. 1 will be installed shortly, while additional requests for hand pumps and other local problems in Ward No. 3 were addressed on the spot.
The event saw participation from Abdullapur Panchayat Pradhan Sanjay Kancha, Swarup Panchayat representatives, ward members, media in-charge Pradyuman Dhanotiya, Aniket, Harsh, Rahul, Sunil, women’s groups, senior citizens, and other dignitaries, reflecting strong community involvement in the programme.
