Brahmin International Organization Trust to Host Two-Day Convention in Dharamshala

DHARAMSHALA — The Himachal Pradesh unit of the Brahmin International Organization Trust (Regd.) has announced a grand two-day state convention scheduled to take place on September 26 and 27, 2026, featuring cultural, religious, and organizational ceremonies across multiple venues in the city.

The proceedings will commence on Saturday, September 26, at the Lions Club Bhawan, starting at 10:00 AM with the formal inauguration, followed by ceremonial flag hoisting (Dhwaj Vandana) and the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony at 10:15 AM. A major highlight of the inaugural session will be the induction of new members through an oath-taking ceremony and certificate distribution scheduled for 12:40 PM, followed by addresses from distinguished guests, the Chief Guest, and the state leadership. Attendees will be served traditional Himachali Dham for lunch at 2:00 PM.

The evening festivities will shift to Shukla Niwas with a Shri Satyanarayan Katha from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, concluding with community dinner at 7:30 PM. The second day, September 27, will be held at Ram Nagar, Ekjyot Colony (near Shukla Hospital), commencing with morning prayers (Pooja Archana) at 9:00 AM, an Aarti and Bhog at 11:00 AM, and culminating in a community feast (Preetibhoj/Dham) between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Announcing the convention, State President Dr. Rameshwar Shukla stated, “This two-day assembly serves as a vital platform to strengthen social harmony, preserve our Sanatan values, and deliberate on welfare initiatives for society. We invite members from across the state to participate actively and make this gathering historic.”

Highlighting the structural goals of the trust, General Secretary Dr. Narender Awasthi remarked, “The convention focuses on youth participation and civic responsibility. The formal oath-taking ceremony underscores our dedication to selfless community service and disciplined leadership.”

State Vice President Bhawani Shankar Kaul added, “Dharamshala is prepared to welcome representatives and families from across Himachal Pradesh. Our organizational committees have finalized extensive arrangements to ensure seamless hospitality and spiritual enrichment over both days.”
