DC Mukesh Repaswal Inspects Kadhu Nullah Accident Site in Pangi

Deputy Commissioner Chamba, Mukesh Repaswal, today inspected the site of the tragic road accident near Kadhu Nala on the Sansari–Killar–Thirot–Tandi road during his tour of the tribal region Pangi.

On July 24, 2026, a vehicle (HP-01M-2210) traveling from Kullu to Pangi was struck by falling boulders near Kadhu Nala, resulting in a fatal mishap. The DC reviewed the accident spot and sought details from officials regarding the causes and current condition of the road. He also issued directions to ensure safe movement along this route.

Repaswal assessed the relief measures provided to affected families. SDM Pangi and Residential Commissioner Amandeep Singh informed him that teams of revenue officers, including the Tehsildar, had visited the homes of all 10 affected families and disbursed relief amounts. The DC assured that the state government stands firmly with the victims in this hour of grief.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Hydro Power House at Sach and reviewed its arrangements and progress.

Officials present included SDM Pangi Amandeep Singh, BRO Major Paras Kochar, RCC-94 representatives, BDO Astha Panwar, Executive Engineer (Electricity) Sunil Chandel, and Assistant Engineer (PWD) Bhag Singh, among others.
