On assuming charge as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil) Bharmour, Ajay Kumar was warmly received by a delegation of the 84 Trade Association Bharmour. The representatives extended heartfelt congratulations and felicitated him with a traditional shawl and cap.
During the meeting, the association discussed key issues concerning local traders and emphasized the need for timely arrangements for the upcoming sacred Shri Manimahesh Yatra. They urged the administration to ensure that pilgrims, traders, and the general public face no inconvenience during the pilgrimage.
The delegation also highlighted the importance of strengthening facilities in the region, including electricity, drinking water, roads, sanitation, parking, and traffic management. In addition, they called for improved arrangements at major religious sites such as the Chaurasi ancient temples, Kartik Swami Temple, Banni Mata Temple, Bharmani Mata Temple, and the holy Manimahesh Dal Lake, to enhance the convenience of devotees.
SDM Ajay Kumar assured positive action on the suggestions, stating that the administration is committed to coordinating with all concerned departments to provide better facilities during the Yatra and at religious sites.
