Science Students Join Campus Exposure Visit

Waknaghat, Solan: In a significant step towards advancing academic excellence and student development, Bahra University and Government PG College Solan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in research, faculty interaction, skill development, and career advancement.
As part of the initiative, final-year Science students from Government PG College Solan participated in a one-day academic exposure programme at Bahra University. The visit offered students hands-on experience with state-of-the-art laboratories, innovation centres, and modern campus infrastructure, while also engaging them in career guidance sessions and faculty interactions.
Vice Chancellor of Bahra University, Prof. R. P. Nainta, emphasized that such collaborations play a crucial role in holistic student development, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications. Registrar Mr. Vineet Kumar (Ex-IFS) highlighted the University’s ongoing partnerships with government colleges across Himachal Pradesh, noting that exposure visits, workshops, and academic exchanges help students build confidence and practical knowledge.
Principal of Government PG College Solan, Prof. Maneesha Kohli, expressed gratitude to Bahra University for its continuous support, stating that such initiatives broaden students’ perspectives and inspire them to pursue higher education and research.
Faculty members including Dr. Vikas Guleria and Mr. Anurag Avasthi, Director Student Welfare, also interacted with the visiting students, encouraging them to leverage these opportunities for academic and career growth.
Bahra University has consistently partnered with government colleges across Himachal Pradesh through MoUs and outreach programmes, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening higher education through collaborative learning, innovation, and industry-academia engagement.
