In view of the proposed visit of the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister to Holi, a meeting was convened at the Rest House, Holi on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Chamba, Mukesh Repswal, to review arrangements for the upcoming program.
Discussions focused on the public meeting venue, traffic and route management, and welcome arrangements. The Deputy Commissioner directed SHO Bharmaur, Babu Ram to ensure strict security measures, smooth traffic flow, and identification of adequate parking spaces.
Officials from the Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Department, and Electricity Department were also instructed to make necessary preparations in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
Prior to the meeting, DC Mukesh Repswal along with Additional District Magistrate Bharmaur, Vikas Sharma, inspected the Holi helipad and public meeting venue to assess the arrangements.
After the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner paid obeisance at the historic Lake Wali Mata Temple and also inspected the Eklavya Model Residential School, Holi.
The meeting was attended by ADM Bharmaur Vikas Sharma, DFO Bharmaur Nawnath Shivaji Mane, SE PWD J.S. Thakur, EE PWD Bhag Singh, Tehsildar Holi Ajay Kumar, BMO Bharmaur Dr. Dipesh Baral, AE Jal Shakti Vivek Chandel, and SHO Bharmaur Babu Ram.
