Bharmour, June 27: A devastating road accident in the tribal region of Bharmour on Saturday morning claimed four lives and left one person seriously injured. The incident occurred around 11:05 AM when an Alto K10 (HP-46-4432) met with an accident.
The deceased have been identified as Ravi Kant, son of Madan Lal, resident of Ranuhkothi village; Chatro Devi, wife of Poornu Ram; Washiro Devi, wife of Ghaniya Ram; and Lata Devi, wife of Rajendra Kumar—all residents of Urei village, Bharmour.
Rakesh Kumar, son of Prashottam from Ranuhkothi, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police and administration teams reached the site immediately after receiving information and launched rescue operations. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The tragic incident has cast a pall of grief over the entire Bharmour region.
