Milap Singh Chauhan, former Panchayat Pradhan of Ghared Panchayat in the tribal region of Bharmaur, has been entrusted with a major responsibility by the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC). He has been appointed as the District General Secretary of Chamba.
According to the appointment order issued by the organization, Chauhan has been given this important role in recognition of his organizational skills, dedication, and commitment to workers’ welfare. The INTUC leadership expressed confidence that under his guidance, the union will become stronger in Chamba district and the fight for workers’ rights will gain further momentum.
As District General Secretary, Chauhan will oversee organizational activities at the district level, promote membership drives, and coordinate meetings and awareness programs.
Following his appointment, workers, social organizations, and well-wishers extended their congratulations and wished him a successful tenure.
