A free health camp was organised at McLeodganj under the initiative of Motherland Multi‑Speciality Hospital, aiming to provide accessible healthcare services to the local and Tibetan communities.
Thinley Tsetso, Staff Nurse at TSO, encouraged members of the Tibetan community to take full advantage of the medical facilities offered during the camp. She emphasized the importance of regular health check‑ups and preventive care.
Tsetso said “Health is the foundation of a strong community. I urge every member of the Tibetan community to make full use of this free health camp. These services are meant for you — to ensure timely check‑ups, early diagnosis, and better well‑being.
We are grateful to the organizers and medical team for bringing healthcare closer to the people. Let us all take responsibility for our health and encourage others to do the same. Together, we can build a healthier and happier society.”
The camp witnessed active participation from residents and tourists alike, with a team of experienced doctors conducting medical consultations and screenings.
Organizers stated that such initiatives are vital in tourist areas like McLeodganj, ensuring that both locals and visitors have access to timely healthcare support.
