Acting on a tip provided by Vijay Kumar, the Baniket Police team successfully recovered a stolen motorcycle linked to case number 17/2026. The vehicle, a Splendor bearing registration number HP 47 9631, had been reported stolen earlier this year.
The recovery operation was carried out by a team comprising Head Constable Vinod Kumar, Head Constable Ashok Kumar, Head Constable Suman Chand, and Constable Ravi Kumar. During the investigation the team located the motorcycle and discovered that its number plate had been tampered with.
Police confirmed that the motorcycle had been stolen and altered to conceal its identity. The search for the suspect involved in the theft is currently underway, and further investigation is in progress.
