The Special P.O. Cell Team of Nurpur Police has achieved a major breakthrough by arresting a long-time absconding declared offender (PO).
Arrest Details
The special team conducted a raid today in Dhariwal (Punjab) and arrested Victor, son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Ward No. 6, Model Town, Dhariwal, District Gurdaspur (Punjab), aged about 32 years.
The accused was wanted in FIR No. 19/2016 registered at Police Station Nurpur under Sections 498A, 504, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He had been evading arrest for years and was declared a proclaimed offender.
Legal Proceedings
The accused will be produced before the Hon’ble Court for further legal action. The Special P.O. Cell Team has reaffirmed that its campaign against offenders will continue in the future.
