Navjeevan Foundation, a well-known name in social service, celebrated International Women’s Day in a grand manner at Narwana Heritage, honoring nearly 50 women achievers from diverse fields for their outstanding contributions to society.
The event was graced by Nagendra Singh Rawal, BJP’s Organization Minister, who attended as Chief Guest along with his wife Mamta Rawal. He congratulated all women on the occasion and lauded the Foundation’s efforts, saying that Navjeevan Foundation empowers women to claim their rightful place in society.
Prominent BJP leader and Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma joined as Guest of Honour. He praised the Foundation’s consistent role in raising awareness about women’s rights and pledged his continued support, assuring that he would contribute more actively to future initiatives. He extended warm wishes to women across Himachal Pradesh on International Women’s Day.
Foundation Chairperson Mrs. Shakun presented the organization’s report card, highlighting that over 12,000 active members are associated with Navjeevan Foundation. She recalled the journey of the past 11 years, built on women’s love and trust, and emphasized the mission to ensure that no woman is deprived of her rights.
The program also featured cultural performances, which were widely appreciated by the audience. The large gathering of women at Narwana Heritage reflected the strong bond of trust and empowerment fostered by the Foundation.
