Land Transfer Completed for Kangnidhhar Judicial Complex, Mandi Bar Association Welcomes Move

In a significant development aimed at strengthening judicial infrastructure in the district, the land transfer process for the proposed judicial complex at Kangnidhhar has been completed.

Welcoming the decision, the District Bar Association, Mandi expressed satisfaction over the long-awaited step. Bar Association President Dinesh Saklani stated that 9.6 hectares (around 120 bighas) of land has officially been transferred in the name of the Judicial Department for the construction of the new complex.

The proposed judicial campus is expected to house appellate courts, subordinate courts, additional courts, a juvenile court, along with an archives block and an auditorium.

Saklani said that with the land now available, the construction work is likely to gain momentum. Once completed, the new judicial complex will provide greater convenience to the general public in legal and court-related matters.

He added that advocates and other stakeholders connected with the judicial system will also benefit from improved facilities under one roof.

The Bar Association described the move as an important milestone towards enhancing judicial services and infrastructure in Mandi district.
