Nurpur police crack down on drug mafia: 7.75 grams heroin seized, one arrested

On the very first day of the new year, Nurpur Police achieved a major success in their ongoing campaign against drug trafficking. Continuing the anti-narcotics drive that has been active for several years, police carried out a raid under Dumtal Police Station jurisdiction at Sanghehar village.

During the search of a residential house belonging to Rajinder Kumar alias Nanu, son of Babu Ram, resident of Sanghehar, Mohatli, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra, authorities recovered 7.75 grams of heroin/chitta.

Following the seizure, a case has been registered against the accused under Sections 21, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act at Dumtal Police Station. The accused has been arrested in accordance with legal procedures, and further investigation is underway.
