Mandi
BJP MP from Mandi and acclaimed actress Kangana Ranaut has completed a deeply personal spiritual journey spanning more than a decade, with the darshan of all 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The final milestone was achieved at the Bheema Shankar Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra, marking the culmination of what she described as a divinely guided pilgrimage.
A Sacred Culmination
Sharing the moment with her followers on Sunday, Kangana posted photographs from the temple, dressed in traditional attire while offering milk to the Shivling and performing puja. She attributed the completion of her pilgrimage to the blessings of Mahadev and the punya karma of her ancestors.
In her message, the Mandi MP revealed that her visits to the Jyotirlingas initially happened “through travel coincidences” over the years. More recently, she consciously resolved to complete all 12 darshans. “By the grace of Mahadev and my ancestors’ punya karma, today I completed all 12 Jyotirlinga, the last being Bheema Shankar. It was a journey of more than a decade,” she shared.
The Uniqueness of Bheema Shankar
Highlighting the spiritual significance of Bheema Shankar, Kangana noted that it is the only Jyotirlinga where both Shiv and Shakti are consecrated together in the form of Ardhanarishwara. She added that the ancient linga remains covered under a silver cast for most of the day, with only a brief 10-minute window for devotees to witness it. “I managed to make it for that as well,” she wrote, concluding with a reverent “Har Har Mahadev.”
Earlier Pilgrimage Highlights
Kangana had earlier shared glimpses of her visit to the Girishneshwar Jyotirlinga, the only Jyotirlinga located in Maharashtra, describing the experience as spiritually fulfilling. She remarked that darshan is possible only when Mahadev calls the devotee. She has also previously sought blessings at the Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga and Vasuki Dham, marking important milestones in her spiritual journey.
Faith and Perseverance
Known for her outspoken views and strong public presence as both an actress and parliamentarian, Kangana Ranaut’s completion of the 12 Jyotirlinga pilgrimage has resonated widely. She described the journey as a blend of faith, perseverance, and devotion that has shaped her life over the years.
